I offer individual therapy for adults from the age of 18 upwards.

I use a broad range of interventions in order to tailor a therapy plan meeting your particular needs and helping you make the desired changes as quickly as possible. I draw from different therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Schema Therapy. I see people with a wide variety of psychological difficulties. Many of these are listed below, but the list is not exhaustive:

Depressive Disorders

Single Episode or recurrent depression, Dysthymia, Melancholia.

Disorders Specifically Associated with Stress

Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Trauma, Adjustment to psychosocial stressors or multiple stressors (e.g. divorce, illness or disability, socio-economic problems, redundancy, interpersonal or occupational conflicts).

Anxiety and Fear-related Disorders

Generalised Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Agoraphobia, Specific Phobias, Social Anxiety (or Social Phobia), Hypochondriasis (or Health Anxiety).

Feeding or Eating Disorders

Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder/Related Disorders

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), 

Trichotillomania (Hair-pulling).

Interpersonal/ Relationship Difficulties

Unhelpful ways of relating to self and other people, resulting in distress, anxiety, depression, and other chronic problems (personal or occupational).
